About the Clinician's WorkdayThe interventional neurologist will provide on-site inpatient neurological coverage on a 24-hour call basis at this 241-bed acute care facility in Nebraska, with coverage spanning September through November. Clinical responsibilities include performing mechanical thrombectomy, coiling, diagnostic cerebral angiogram, flow diversion, and catheter endovascular treatments as clinically indicated. Clinicians must meet a mechanical thrombectomy volume requirement of 15 procedures per year or 30 procedures in two years. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and board certification in Neurology is required for all clinicians considered for this locum tenens engagement.
